Този курс подготвя курсистите за успешно преминаване и сертифициране на LPI 101. Курса покрива LPI 101 версия 3 (версия налична от 1 Април, 2009). Linux Professional Institute(LPI) е сертифицираща организация независима от Линукс дистрибуциите. Курса покрива основните умения които са необходими за работа с Линукс, като работа с файлове, текстова обработка, работа с обвивката на Линукс, работа с пакетите (инсталиране и деинсталиране на софтуер), файлова система, хардуер, и много други. След преминаване на този курс на обучени курсистите ще получат необходимите познания за успешно покриване на LPIC1 сертификация.
